About: Sanctified: Set Apart for a Purpose -- A Study of 1 & 2 Peter

This book is available on Amazon, and through Kaio Publications. It is a part of the Finer Grounds Study Series.

"Just who was the man who was so passionate about his Lord and Savior that he walked on water to meet Him and leapt into swordplay to defend Him, and yet anxiously denied knowing Him at the most crucial point of Christ’s ministry?

From his own matured perspective later in life as he penned two epistles, Peter shares his wisdom gained from being a close friend and witness of the Son of God. Even his own hard road of mistakes and rebukes molded him into the loving and caring church leader that he became.

Before his death, Peter needed to ensure his Christian brethren would find their appropriate place in an upside-down world, stand boldly for the truth, and develop the kinds of relationships in the home, the church and the community that would nourish and build up the Kingdom of God as Christ intended.

Join Kristy as she guides you through the works of Peter to gently and lovingly spur you to grasp what he deemed most important. Your role, as a Christian woman in a mixed-up-world, is to be Sanctified, Set Apart for a Purpose!" (Amazon)

Rightly Dividing the Word: A II Timothy Study Guide

susan elliott, rightly dividing the word, II Timothy, church of Christ women authors, study books, women study, new testament study, pauline studies, apostle paulAbout Rightly Dividing the Word: A II Timothy Study Guide:

"Rightly Dividing The Word: A II Timothy Study Guide is an excellent study tool. It is an in depth study that not only covers the verses, but looks at them through a historical lens. Susan confronts many contemporary issues that were also common to Paul's day. This book has been classroom tested, and is also great for personal growth and development." (Amazon)

From the Author: I wrote this book because we had a need for class materials in our high school classroom. The year I wrote it II Timothy was the book the kids were studying for Bible bowl, so it only made sense to write class material that would cover Bible bowl and important lessons from II Timothy. I hope you find this book useful.  If you purchase a copy and like it, please leave a rating on Amazon. THANKS!

The Holy Spirit in 365 Scriptures by Katheryn Maddox Haddad

Holy Spirit, Katheryn Maddox Haddad, church of Christ, church of Christ Woman Authors, women authors, religious booksAbout the Book:

"There are numerous books on the Holy Spirit, but they are based on only a few Bible verses. This study was not done to prove the author’s or anyone else’s pet assessment of the Holy Spirit. The study was made with the desire to forget all pre-conceived notions and opinions, and discover only God’s opinion.

The Bible has 365 verses on the Holy Spirit and God’s Spirit. This is the only book of its kind to cover all verses. All other books take a few ideas about the Holy Spirit and elaborate on them.
To make sense out of all 365 verses, they were categorized according to what you see in the table of contents in this book ~ the types of people affected by the Holy Spirit.

Within each category, are sub-categories, usually based on how the Holy Spirit connected with each person, and how each person reacted.

The same subcategory terms will sometimes appear in each category of the people the Holy Spirit affected. At first those little words may seem to have no special significance. But as you progressed through them, you will see that even little words like “within” and “upon”, and “full” sometimes had big significance. All those word studies prepare you for the even more dynamic later chapters in the book.
The study is based on the New King James Version of the Bible.

Read through these chapters, not to prove what you already believe, but with an open mind and heart that perhaps you don’t believe in enough things the Holy Spirit does, or you believe in more things than the scriptures actually teach.

Let us be careful that we do not go beyond what is written (I Corinthians 4:6). Now, let us gear up for all things God’s Holy Spirit does, and get ready to be amazed."  (Amazon)
